My Little HD Hero - Introduction

Welcome to My Little HD Hero.

Being a mum as I have discovered is a roller coaster of emotions and experiences as it is, but mine so far has been full of a few more ups and downs than most!

My son Charlie was diagnosed at birth with a rare bowel condition, Hirschsprungs Disease (HD). He is my little HD Hero and this blog is my way of documenting my journey into motherhood with Charlie.

Our beautiful baby boy is now 5months old and is thriving, but HD will always be a part of our lives. We are just taking one day at a time and enjoying making precious moments together.

I am going to start journalling our HD journey and write posts starting at the beginning when we were trying to get pregnant and then go through our journey so far.
